Layla Reyes

I have been playing tennis for many years and it has created so many unforgettable memories. Tennis has helped me grow not only as an athlete but as person. I have realized that not everyone is lucky enough to participate in such a challenging and enjoyable sport. I wanted to be a part of Second Serve Club because I wanted to make a difference in the community. I want kids to play tennis and create

incredible memories just like I have. Everyone deserves to have the chance to play and Second Serve Club can make that possible.

Justin Lee

I am working with Second Serve to share the incredible stories of a young and inspiring generation tennis players. Certainly, tennis improves physical well-being. More importantly, however, tennis has helped inspire this young generation to enhance not only their lives, but those of the people around them. Many of them use tennis’ ability to unite a group of people into a community, and I look forward to learning of and spreading these stories so that others may too become encouraged by the spirit of these incredible people.

Sarah MacCallum

Hi my name is Sarah MacCallum and tennis has been a major part of my life for almost 9 years. With tennis, I have had access to so many great opportunities, and I have developed friendships that will last a lifetime. I recognize that I live a very privileged tennis life. If my racket cracks, I get a new one. If there is a hole in my bag, I replace it. If my strings break, I go to my stringer and she has it done in the blink of an eye. Meanwhile, there are millions of kids all around the world who want to play tennis but are not able to because the equipment is too expensive. I want to be a part of this program that lights up these kids' faces and brings joy into their lives. I cannot wait to be a part of something so great!

Mika Ikemori

I want to be involved in this organization for many reasons. First off, I would be able to help kids play tennis. Tennis is my favorite thing in the world and it brings me so much joy. To make other kids be as happy as I am sounds like a dream. Tennis is such a great way to get kids outside, meet new people and just have fun!

Natalia Mochernak

Hi, I’m Natalia! I’ve been playing tennis for almost all my life and it has always been there for me through thick and thin. Tennis has taught me so much about life from discipline, to teamwork. I hope I can give back to the sport and community I love so much by being a part of Second Serve!

Morgan Shaffer

I am beyond excited to be working with the Second Serve foundation to give back to underprivileged junior players in our community! Tennis has taught me many lessons such as sportsmanship, how to handle pressure, decision making skills, and much more. I think that it is important that others learn these important skills as well. By providing these kids with equipment they are also gaining opportunities to make new friends and have fun!

Through tennis I have learned that with passion, drive, and work ethic, you can achieve anything. I have also learned to view failure as an opportunity in disguise. It is a privilege for me to be able to give back to those less fortunate through tennis.

Meg McCarty

For as long as I can remember, tennis has the biggest part of my life. It has connected me with so many amazing people and has taken me all over the country. Not only am I grateful for the lessons I’ve learned playing tennis, but the opportunities it has given me. I would stop at nothing to be able to give these opportunities to kids who have never had them. I hope the game of tennis can have an impact on these kids lives, as it has had such a big impact on mine.

Sahil Shah

Hi, I’m Sahil Shah and I have been playing tennis since I was 6. Through tennis, I have made many friendships and learned many important lessons. Tennis allows me to forget about any stress or worries, and just focus on playing. I think that this is one of the most important parts of tennis. I hope I can help spread this through Second Serve and spread happiness through the sport of tennis.

Ruby Hansen

Hi! My name is Ruby! I started playing tennis at 10. I'm so happy I have the opportunity to be a part of Second Serve! I think playing tennis is the funnest thing in the whole world and I love that Second Serve gives equipment to underprivileged kids because it gives kids the chance to have just as much fun as I do while playing tennis!

I wanted to be able to give back to the community because I think tennis helps people grow, builds character, and if full of unforgettable memories.

Emily Deming

Hi, my name is Emily Deming! I have been playing tennis since I was three, and it has brought me so many great memories and friends. Tennis has helped me grow in so many different ways on and off the court. I want kids to experience this amazing sport and be able to make memories and learn new skills. I am so excited to be a part of Second Serve and give back to many kids who love the sport as much as we do! Second Serve gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy the sport!

Neena Feldman

I have been playing tennis for as long as I can remember. It has kept me physically fit and healthy, plus teaches me to be mentally tough enough to keep striving towards whatever goal I

put my mind to. I am excited to be a part of Second Serve because I believe that they stand for a great cause: helping other kids be able to experience the benefits and community of tennis too, who might not otherwise be able to afford this expensive sport. I wish all kids could feel the

joy I feel every time I step onto a court.

Sahana Madala

Hi, I'm Sahana! I am beyond thrilled to be a part of Second Serve and the Regional President of St. Louis. I have been playing tennis for almost 7 years and it has brought so many great memories and friendships that will last a lifetime! Tennis has taught me so many life lessons on and off the court such as work ethic and determination. I joined Second Serve because I want to make a difference and give everyone a chance to play the wonderful sport of tennis. By providing young kids with equipment, it will open up so many opportunities and allow them to grow and succeed!

Katie Parr

I want to help Second Serve because it puts two of my greatest passions together: tennis and helping people. It breaks my heart to see underprivileged kids and their struggles. I love helping these communities in any way that I can, and Second Serve is a great way to do this. Most people go through their tennis equipment so fast because it’s not perfect, but other kids would love these pieces of equipment. I feel like this is a great way to help these kids, put a smile on their face, and change their lives; I definitely want to be a part of this!

Ella Lokier

Hi, I'm Ella Lokier and I started playing tennis when I was 3 years old. The life lessons that I have learned from tennis have given me the ability to perform when life gets through and never give up no matter what. I believe that every child, no matter what their background, should be given this opportunity in life through playing tennis. This is the very reason why being an advocate for Second Serve tennis plays such an important role within myself.

Sanay Sheth

Tennis is a big part of my life and has taught me many valuable lessons. I realize there are many people in this world that can benefit from this sport but are not able to because they do not have the means. Donating to these kids to give them a chance is something that I have been wanting to do so that they can enjoy tennis just as I do.

Tanvi Narendran

Hi my name is Tanvi Narendran! I'm a junior at University High School in Tucson, Arizona. I got into tennis because of my dad, and I started playing when I was about 9. Now, I aspire to be the best tennis player that I can be. Fortunately, I have my dad to share his experience with me, I have access to the clubs and equipment I need to be able to strive towards that goal. Unfortunately, not everyone has these opportunities and I am looking forward to being a part of something that helps provide people with the opportunities they need to be able to work towards their goals! Tennis has given me so much, and those who don't have the same opportunities I do deserve that too. I am thrilled to be a part of Second Serve and help make that difference!

Sofia Ruhr

My name is Sofia and I am 14 years old. I recently moved to North Las Vegas from Southern California. I have been playing tennis for over 7 years and love it! Tennis is such an amazing sport that you can play anywhere, any time and with anyone. It’s fun, challenging and a great all around exercise that makes you feel good physically and mentally.

I think it’s so important to give back and I know there is so much waste so when I found this organization, I was so happy. As kids, we grow out of our clothes and gear so fast and being able to give those gently used equipment to other kids who are less fortunate or don’t have as much access to tennis is amazing.

Rose Sarner

Hi, my name is Rose Sarner and I am from Los Angeles. I have been playing tennis since I was six years old and am thrilled to be able to share my love of the game with so many people. Tennis has brought me so many memories and experiences, it has been a way for me to grow not only as a player but as an individual. I believe tennis is much more than a game; it is a community. I am honored to be able to work with Second Serve to spread joy and support to those who truly need it the most.  Access to tennis equipment can be challenging to many players and I feel very lucky to have received rackets, shoes, and other tennis gear throughout my life. I am committed to enhancing the lives of so many and what better way to do it than through such a powerful sport!

Bryson Langford

Hello! I am Bryson Langford! I am a junior tennis player in Kansas City where I compete in tournaments around the country and on my high school team. Tennis is such an important part of my life and I believe it is a blessing to have the opportunity to play this wonderful sport. My goal is to give back to children that love tennis just as much as I do but do not have the same privileges. I am thrilled to be a part of the Second Serve team to help others who want to learn such a great lifelong sport!

Christina Zhang

I want to join Second Serve because I am capable of introducing such a wonderful sport to more people across the globe. I always wished to provide oppurtunity for those that are unfortunate, giving everyone a chance to shine. I think it is truly dissapointing to let go of so many potential talented players plainly due to the difficult financial situation. Therefore, I would like to support the passionate people with this platform.

Rebecca Prassas

I have been playing tennis for about 6 years and play on my high school’s varsity girls team! Tennis has made me resilient and has taught me how to persevere and work hard. I’ve also met some of my closest friends through the sport! I want to help others have the opportunity to play this awesome sport and that’s why I joined second serve club!

Katelyn Smith

Hi! My name is Katelyn Smith and I would love to be a part of this organization because tennis has brought me so much joy and so many memories and I would love to give the same opportunities to children all over the world. I have learned how lucky I am to play this amazing sport and I want to share this with others. I am so grateful to be a part of Second Serve and everything they do all over the world. Tennis is such an amazing way to have so much fun!

Tsehay Driscoll

I've played tennis ever since I could remember; it's been my life. I honestly wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for tennis. Tennis has helped me make long lasting friendships with people all over the world. I wanted to join Second Serve because about 2 years ago I was in Rwanda playing some tennis and I saw first hand how privileged I was playing tennis in America with my newly painted courts and net that didn’t have holes. In Rwanda the kids were playing with shoes 2 sizes too big and rackets that were 10 years old. Seeing all that made me want to give back and put smiles on kids faces.

Haily Huynh

I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and was provided with equipment constantly by my family. I now acknowledge that not all kids are able to be provided with the equipment I receive and it breaks my heart. I am so thrilled to be apart of such an amazing organization that will be able to help kids in need. I love to see the kids smile and I feel great that I am helping them.

Rosie Sterk

Hi, I'm Rosie Sterk! I am planning to play Division 1 Tennis, Fall'21. I played a lot of sports growing up, including representing Scotland in Basketball, Badminton and Tennis. I am super enthusiastic to introduce Second Serve's initiative into Scotland. Sport has taught me so many life lessons, and to be able to share that opportunity with others is an exciting challenge.

Anna Sterk

Hello! My name is Anna Sterk. Tennis and sport have been one of the biggest joys in my life as I have played tennis since the age of 4 and I have represented Scotland in 3 sports. Tennis is a worldwide game that encourages teamwork, communication and lots of hard work which helps sculpt and create the best version of yourself. I love tennis more than anything and I would take any opportunity to share that joy with everyone else.
