Hi, I'm Ayanna Shah! I have been playing tennis since I was 7, and it has brought me so many memories, friends, and joy. I've learned so many important lessons, and I believe other kids deserve a chance to be able to learn and experience the joy of playing such an awesome sport. For many of these kids, tennis is a bright spot in their lives, and I hope Second Serve can help them grow.

NEENA FELDMAN
Portland, Oregon
I have been playing tennis for as long as I can remember. It has kept me physically fit and healthy, plus teaches me to be mentally tough enough to keep striving towards whatever goal I
put my mind to. I am excited to be a part of Second Serve because I believe that they stand for a great cause: helping other kids be able to experience the benefits and community of tennis too, who might not otherwise be able to afford this expensive sport. I wish all kids could feel the
joy I feel every time I step onto a court.

SOFIA RUHR
Las Vegas, Nevada
My name is Sofia and I am 14 years old. I recently moved to North Las Vegas from Southern California. I have been playing tennis for over 7 years and love it! Tennis is such an amazing sport that you can play anywhere, any time and with anyone. It’s fun, challenging and a great all around exercise that makes you feel good physically and mentally.
I think it’s so important to give back and I know there is so much waste so when I found this organization, I was so happy. As kids, we grow out of our clothes and gear so fast and being able to give those gently used equipment to other kids who are less fortunate or don’t have as much access to tennis is amazing.

TANVI NARENDRAN
Tuscon, Arizona
Hi my name is Tanvi Narendran! I'm a junior at University High School in Tucson, Arizona. I got into tennis because of my dad, and I started playing when I was about 9. Now, I aspire to be the best tennis player that I can be. Fortunately, I have my dad to share his experience with me, I have access to the clubs and equipment I need to be able to strive towards that goal. Unfortunately, not everyone has these opportunities and I am looking forward to being a part of something that helps provide people with the opportunities they need to be able to work towards their goals! Tennis has given me so much, and those who don't have the same opportunities I do deserve that too. I am thrilled to be a part of Second Serve and help make that difference!

TSEHAY DRISCOLL
La Canada Flintridge, California
I've played tennis ever since I could remember; it's been my life. I honestly wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for tennis. Tennis has helped me make long lasting friendships with people all over the world. I wanted to join Second Serve because about 2 years ago I was in Rwanda playing some tennis and I saw first hand how privileged I was playing tennis in America with my newly painted courts and net that didn’t have holes. In Rwanda the kids were playing with shoes 2 sizes too big and rackets that were 10 years old. Seeing all that made me want to give back and put smiles on kids faces.

I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and was provided with equipment constantly by my family. I now acknowledge that not all kids are able to be provided with the equipment I receive and it breaks my heart. I am so thrilled to be apart of such an amazing organization that will be able to help kids in need. I love to see the kids smile and I feel great that I am helping them.

I want to be involved in this organization for many reasons. First off, I would be able to help kids play tennis. Tennis is my favorite thing in the world and it brings me so much joy. ALEXANDRA WOLF
Pacific Palisades, California
My name is Alexandra Wolf and tennis has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. This sport has brought me so much joy, helped me make friends, and taught me so many life lessons. Through tennis I have learned that with passion, drive, and work ethic, you can achieve anything. I have also learned to view failure as an opportunity in disguise. It is a privilege for me to be able to give back to those less fortunate through tennis.

MEG MCCARTY

For as long as I can remember, tennis has the biggest part of my life. It has connected me with so many amazing people and has taken me all over the country. Not only am I grateful for the lessons I’ve learned playing tennis, but the opportunities it has given me. I would stop at nothing to be able to give these opportunities to kids who have never had them. I hope the game of tennis can have an impact on these kids lives, as it has had such a big impact on mine.

AADI HURIA
Detroit, Michigan
Tennis has taught me to set goals and challenge myself to achieve my personal best. I believe that every kid, who has the desire to play, should have the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from tennis just like I have. I love the idea of making tennis more affordable for kids who love the sport. Players grow out of their tennis rackets and other accessories quickly; their gently used gear will give underprivileged kids the opportunity to be successful people and players. Second Serve has provided me with an excellent avenue for making a positive impact on people and the sport of tennis globally.

Hi, My name is Ishan Ambastha. I have been playing tennis for a little more than four years, and it’s my dream to play tennis in college. It is my favourite sport, and I would like to spread the joy of the sport. I believe that so many underprivileged kids would love a chance at playing this sport, which is why I am excited to help. I recognize that tennis equipment is expensive, and believe Second Serve’s idea of donating equipment is great. This is why I would love to help and also teach underprivileged kids how to play tennis.

I have played tennis ever since I’ve been four years old and I have always loved it, whether it’s playing with friends, family, or on my own, it has always brought me so much joy. I want to help these kids and be a part of second serve because every kid deserves a chance to play tennis, or at least give it a try. The idea that I can in some way help underprivileged kids take part in such a fun, exciting sport is very important and inspiring to me.

MATTHEW WANG
Oceanside, California
Hi everyone, my name is Matthew Wang and I am super stoked to be a part of the Second Serve team. I was introduced to tennis in middle school where I fell in love with the game and decided to take tennis competitively. Tennis has opened many opportunities for me such as meeting new friends, developing a strong mental game, and friendly competition with others. It has also taught me many valuable life lessons such as discipline and hard work. Tennis is a mental game and often times one will get discouraged or down on themselves but learning from these situations, make you a strong person and player. Tennis has made me a better person on and off the courts. I am thrilled to be able to help spread the love of tennis and help others out by providing them with the gear needed to play tennis. I am ecstatic to be a part of this team and can not wait to make a difference in the world today!
