PLEASE NOTE THAT ANYONE IS WELCOME TO GET INVOLVED WITH SECOND SERVE BY COLLECTING MORE THAN 100 ITEMS (SEE DETAILS BELOW). WE NO LONGER REQUIRE INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO JOIN SECOND SERVE.
Once items are collected, Second Serve can help find suitable recipients either within your community or within US.

HOW DO I COLLECT 100+ ITEMS?

Run a Second Serve Campaign to collect 100+ items. This could mean:

Partnering with a college varsity team to host an event during one of their matches

Joint marketing, collecting equipment from players & from community members who attend to match

Partnering with a tennis club to co-host an event or collection drive

Collecting donations during an event or tournament at the club, setting up a bin for drop-offs, or any other partnership

Using tournament communication methods to get players to bring equipment donations

Using personal connections or outreach to see if a tennis store or an athletics brand may want to partner for a donation

HOW DO CONNECT WITH SECOND SERVE?

You will receive: addresses to ship the equipment to worthy recipients and pre-paid shipping labels

Second Serve will function as a BRIDGE connecting those who have collected a large amount of equipment with children who could greatly benefit.
