GARY PIERRE
Haiti
Hello everyone!
I'm a former nationally ranked #3 tennis player from Port - Au - Prince, Haiti. I played #1 singles and doubles tennis in college, where I'm also getting a degree in International Business. Coming from an underprivileged background, tennis has opened so many doors for me. Some of those opportunities included: playing ITF tournaments, representing at the U.S. Open as a guest of Katrina Adam (USTA President) and David Haggerty (ITF President), and training at the No Quit Tennis Academy. My success in tennis has allowed me to travel to countries in the Pacific, Caribbean, and North America. I continued my success by earning a full scholarship to attend college. I've always been passionate about community services, especially in sports. My goal in joining this team is to help grow Second Serve so that we can reach more underdogs who are passionate about tennis and provide them with the resources they need to get out of poverty.

CHRISTINA ZHANG

I want to join Second Serve because I am capable of introducing such a wonderful sport to more people across the globe. I always wished to provide oppurtunity for those that are unfortunate, giving everyone a chance to shine. I think it is truly dissapointing to let go of so many potential talented players plainly due to the difficult financial situation. Therefore, I would like to support the passionate people with this platform.

IRADUKUNDA DELPHIN
l started playing tennis when l was 7. Before l came in tennis l used to go to the tennis courts and watch same people playing, and l feel like l also want to play. Then my old brother took me there to start playing, so l like tennis because it's a flexible game with all parts of the body mainly mental. The reason why l help other people to play tennis is because our country still has a low number of tennis players, so l want our country to have many professional tennis players in the future. I want to give the same chance to those children who love tennis but don't have the support they need.
