Co-Founder and CEO Hi, I'm Ayanna Shah! I have been playing tennis since I was 7, and it has brought me so many memories, friends, and joy. I've learned so many important lessons, and I believe other kids deserve a chance to be able to learn and experience the joy of playing such an awesome sport. For many of these kids, tennis is a bright spot in their lives, and I hope Second Serve can help them grow.
Co-Founder and National President My name is Amani Shah! I live in San Diego and co-founded Second Serve in 2019. Tennis is my favorite thing in the world, and it is my dream is to support underprivileged children who love the game. I truly believe sports can change one's life and that everyone deserves the opportunity to find joy through playing. Therefore, I hope Second Serve can facilitate equal access to tennis for children around the world.
St. Louis, Missouri Hi! My name is Ariel Madatali, and I am the President of Second Serve Club in Missouri. I want to help contribute to this club because tennis is an amazing sport, and I feel like everyone should be able to play it, and have the equipment to do so. Tennis is very important to me, and I want to help spread the joy of playing it!
Round Rock, Texas Hi, my name is Fatema Hirani. Tennis is one of my favorite things ever and the courts are my second home. I always love a good challenge and staying active and tennis is a great way to combine the two! I want to share this amazing gift with others and am so excited to put some smiles on peoples’ faces!
Portland, Oregon I have been playing tennis for as long as I can remember. It has kept me physically fit and healthy, plus teaches me to be mentally tough enough to keep striving towards whatever goal I put my mind to. I am excited to be a part of Second Serve because I believe that they stand for a great cause: helping other kids be able to experience the benefits and community of tennis too, who might not otherwise be able to afford this expensive sport. I wish all kids could feel the joy I feel every time I step onto a court.
Las Vegas, Nevada My name is Sofia and I am 14 years old. I recently moved to North Las Vegas from Southern California. I have been playing tennis for over 7 years and love it! Tennis is such an amazing sport that you can play anywhere, any time and with anyone. It’s fun, challenging and a great all around exercise that makes you feel good physically and mentally. I think it’s so important to give back and I know there is so much waste so when I found this organization, I was so happy. As kids, we grow out of our clothes and gear so fast and being able to give those gently used equipment to other kids who are less fortunate or don’t have as much access to tennis is amazing.
Tuscon, Arizona Hi my name is Tanvi Narendran! I'm a junior at University High School in Tucson, Arizona. I got into tennis because of my dad, and I started playing when I was about 9. Now, I aspire to be the best tennis player that I can be. Fortunately, I have my dad to share his experience with me, I have access to the clubs and equipment I need to be able to strive towards that goal. Unfortunately, not everyone has these opportunities and I am looking forward to being a part of something that helps provide people with the opportunities they need to be able to work towards their goals! Tennis has given me so much, and those who don't have the same opportunities I do deserve that too. I am thrilled to be a part of Second Serve and help make that difference!
Kansas City, Kansas Hello! I am Bryson Langford! I am a junior tennis player in Kansas City where I compete in tournaments around the country and on my high school team. Tennis is such an important part of my life and I believe it is a blessing to have the opportunity to play this wonderful sport. My goal is to give back to children that love tennis just as much as I do but do not have the same privileges. I am thrilled to be a part of the Second Serve team to help others who want to learn such a great lifelong sport!
La Canada Flintridge, California I've played tennis ever since I could remember; it's been my life. I honestly wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for tennis. Tennis has helped me make long lasting friendships with people all over the world. I wanted to join Second Serve because about 2 years ago I was in Rwanda playing some tennis and I saw first hand how privileged I was playing tennis in America with my newly painted courts and net that didn’t have holes. In Rwanda the kids were playing with shoes 2 sizes too big and rackets that were 10 years old. Seeing all that made me want to give back and put smiles on kids faces.
Redondo Beach, California I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and was provided with equipment constantly by my family. I now acknowledge that not all kids are able to be provided with the equipment I receive and it breaks my heart. I am so thrilled to be apart of such an amazing organization that will be able to help kids in need. I love to see the kids smile and I feel great that I am helping them.
Huntington Beach, California I want to be involved in this organization for many reasons. First off, I would be able to help kids play tennis. Pacific Palisades, California My name is Alexandra Wolf and tennis has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. This sport has brought me so much joy, helped me make friends, and taught me so many life lessons. Through tennis I have learned that with passion, drive, and work ethic, you can achieve anything. I have also learned to view failure as an opportunity in disguise. It is a privilege for me to be able to give back to those less fortunate through tennis.
Bozeman, Montana For as long as I can remember, tennis has the biggest part of my life. It has connected me with so many amazing people and has taken me all over the country. Not only am I grateful for the lessons I’ve learned playing tennis, but the opportunities it has given me. I would stop at nothing to be able to give these opportunities to kids who have never had them. I hope the game of tennis can have an impact on these kids lives, as it has had such a big impact on mine.

Detroit, Michigan Tennis has taught me to set goals and challenge myself to achieve my personal best. I believe that every kid, who has the desire to play, should have the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from tennis just like I have. I love the idea of making tennis more affordable for kids who love the sport. Players grow out of their tennis rackets and other accessories quickly; their gently used gear will give underprivileged kids the opportunity to be successful people and players. Second Serve has provided me with an excellent avenue for making a positive impact on people and the sport of tennis globally.
Riverside, Connecticut Hi, My name is Ishan Ambastha. I have been playing tennis for a little more than four years, and it’s my dream to play tennis in college. It is my favourite sport, and I would like to spread the joy of the sport. I believe that so many underprivileged kids would love a chance at playing this sport, which is why I am excited to help. I recognize that tennis equipment is expensive, and believe Second Serve’s idea of donating equipment is great. This is why I would love to help and also teach underprivileged kids how to play tennis.

My family is a big tennis family. We play all the time. We love the sport so much that I would like to help to introduce it to other kids around the country and the world.
Oceanside, California Hi everyone, my name is Matthew Wang and I am super stoked to be a part of the Second Serve team. I was introduced to tennis in middle school where I fell in love with the game and decided to take tennis competitively. Tennis has opened many opportunities for me such as meeting new friends, developing a strong mental game, and friendly competition with others. It has also taught me many valuable life lessons such as discipline and hard work. Tennis is a mental game and often times one will get discouraged or down on themselves but learning from these situations, make you a strong person and player. Tennis has made me a better person on and off the courts. I am thrilled to be able to help spread the love of tennis and help others out by providing them with the gear needed to play tennis. I am ecstatic to be a part of this team and can not wait to make a difference in the world today!

Haiti Hello everyone! I'm a former nationally ranked #3 tennis player from Port - Au - Prince, Haiti. I played #1 singles and doubles tennis in college, where I'm also getting a degree in International Business. Coming from an underprivileged background, tennis has opened so many doors for me. Some of those opportunities included: playing ITF tournaments, representing at the U.S. Open as a guest of Katrina Adam (USTA President) and David Haggerty (ITF President), and training at the No Quit Tennis Academy. My success in tennis has allowed me to travel to countries in the Pacific, Caribbean, and North America. I continued my success by earning a full scholarship to attend college. I've always been passionate about community services, especially in sports. My goal in joining this team is to help grow Second Serve so that we can reach more underdogs who are passionate about tennis and provide them with the resources they need to get out of poverty.
China Hi, I am Coco! I am so excited to be a Second Serve Ambassador to China! Tennis has helped me grow in so many ways. I have been playing tennis for several years and it has brought me many great experiences and memories. I am glad that I have this opportunity to share my joy and passion with other kids. I hope they enjoy playing tennis as much as I do!
China I want to join Second Serve because I am capable of introducing such a wonderful sport to more people across the globe. I always wished to provide oppurtunity for those that are unfortunate, giving everyone a chance to shine. I think it is truly dissapointing to let go of so many potential talented players plainly due to the difficult financial situation. Therefore, I would like to support the passionate people with this platform.
Spain My name is Nicole Wuelfing, I grew up in Los Angeles, California and now I live and train at the David Ferrer tennis academy in Spain. I would love to help out the second serve club because it makes me so happy to be working with other people who want to make a change in the world, beyond business, and giving underprivileged kids the opportunity to play tennis with items from all over the world.
l started playing tennis when l was 7. Before l came in tennis l used to go to the tennis courts and watch same people playing, and l feel like l also want to play. Then my old brother took me there to start playing, so l like tennis because it's a flexible game with all parts of the body mainly mental. The reason why l help other people to play tennis is because our country still has a low number of tennis players, so l want our country to have many professional tennis players in the future. I want to give the same chance to those children who love tennis but don't have the support they need.
Kampala, Uganda Hi, my name is Rajvir Liddar. I live in Uganda and I play tennis in my day to day life. Tennis brings a lot of joy and happiness. I feel it’s important for people who cant afford it to also have the opportunity to experience and take out what the sport gives you.
