CAMPBELL RICCI IN LAS VEGAS

Campbell Ricci, the regional president of Las Vegas, Nevada and Junior Director of Communications, has been a tremendous asset to Second Serve ever since she joined the organization six months ago. Another Second Serve team member, Morgan Shaffer, knew that Campbell would be a great contributor to the organization, so she reached out to Campbell and encouraged her to join Second Serve’s team. “When Morgan asked me to be a part of Second Serve, I was quick to join,” Campbell said. “I knew that if I were to join Second Serve, it would be a great way to help give back to the community.”

Even though Campbell has only been a part of Second Serve’s team for a few months, she has already been able to make a significant impact on the lives of young tennis players in her community. Campbell has set up a total of four donation boxes at Red Rock Club, Canyon Gate Country Club, Summerlin Tennis Club, and Darling Tennis Center and she has acquired over 260 pieces of gently used tennis equipment. The items that Campbell collects are all donated to the Inspiring Children Foundation of Las Vegas. This foundation empowers children who have been struggling with financial hardship, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation by giving them access to trauma treatment, group counseling, leadership development, yoga, tennis, and much more. Irene Frazier works at the Inspiring Children Foundation and helps organize and distribute the items that Campbell collects. Campbell said, “Tennis has given me so many opportunities, memories, and friendships, so I thought that it would be cool to give other kids those opportunities with tennis. It's incredible to see that we can put smiles on other kids' faces because we are helping with their tennis involvement.”
